Our room was quite small but very nice. Good location. As a frequent traveler I have become accustomed to welcoming staff, even in London. While the staff was “professional “ almost robotic like, they were not welcoming or inviting, especially the man I think is Italian. When we asked questions, his demeanor was a bit condescending. We did not feel welcomed.

Absolutely amazing hotel, staff where so lovely and made sure we felt welcomed. The location is absolutely perfect, definitely a must if going to winter wonderland The rooms are great but definitely need a paint touch up, lots of marks on the walls and carpets. Carpets where stained yellow in some spots. The mattress topper was also to small for the bed. Would definitely stay again as the service was absolutely excellent, however some updates needed on the room

Room was nice but found there was a lot of hair on the floor and bed, don't think it is vacuumed after every guest. Found the front desk people rude and snobby when we first walked in, but after we came and went a few times they became friendlier.

I’ve looked at other reviews here. Yes, they are right the rooms are a little tight. BUT there’s nothing else negative about this place! Location is perfect between Paddington station and Lancaster Gate tube station. Staff are elegant, professional and welcoming. Rooms are spotless and they have everything you need! The area is beautiful surrounded by the iconic victorian buildings in a quiet and safe neighbourhood. A 5-minute walk and you are at the beautiful Italian Gardens in Hyde Park. Yes, there’s no breakfast, but who needs breakfast at a hotel when London offers her best everywhere you go!? The price is worth it, just try booking in advance. I loved everything about this place and will surely come back when the chance allows!

We really enjoyed our time at this hotel. The rooms were clean and the beds are comfortable with good windows and blackout curtains. The shower was fabulous! The front staff were super helpful and kind as we had some unrelated trip hiccups. They helped us arrange an extra night when our departure changed and an early check in when other accommodations had a issue. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay again. They don’t have food (which they are up front about) but have lots of options within walking distance and are very convenient to transportation.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was very comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is also in a very convenient location - not far from Paddington Station, Edgware Road and Marble Arch.. We would definitely stay here again and Zi would highly recommend it.

Arrived at the hotel and thought it had everything we needed including so extras we didn't expect. However the first night we had someone enter our room at 1am using a key card for the neighbouring room. This was very distressing enough but the cleaning staff regularly would knock once and immediately enter as they knocked giving no time to respond so repeatedly we felt fearful of sleeping as strangers and staff were just entering our room at will. Eventually we changed room for 1 night but felt the staff whilst pleasant were not understanding or accommodating of our complaints. I've had better security and service and much cheaper hotels in much more dangerous areas. Would not recommend.
